What if I told you that you don’t have to pick just one aesthetic for your elopement? You can be the soft, flowy dream and the badass retro babe in the same damn day. That’s exactly what this couple did when they drove all the way from Portland, Oregon, for their epic Boise elopement with two locations—turning their wedding into an unforgettable adventure and a babymoon (yes, one of them was eight months pregnant and still rocked this day like a pro).
From a windswept ceremony in the Boise foothills, officiated by my favorite human (and husband), Nate, to a Grease-inspired retro drive-in session with neon lights and flash photography, this elopement was a whole damn vibe. And if you’re thinking, “Wait… I can do this too?”—the answer is a resounding hell yes, you can.
Because why the fuck not? No rule says you have to pick just one place. If you and your love have multiple aesthetics (and let’s be honest, you do), then splitting your elopement into two locations lets you fully embrace every part of your vibe.
Here’s why this couple opted for a Boise elopement with two locations:
The result? A day that was as dynamic and unique as their love story.

Picture this: the golden Idaho sun sinking behind rolling hills, a winding river below, and one of the most romantic, intimate ceremonies you could imagine. That’s exactly what went down at this first location.
💍 The Look: A dreamy, flowy white wedding dress (fluffy AF) + a classic black suit. Absolute perfection.
🌄 The Vibe: Wind catching the dress, sweeping landscapes, and that just-married glow.
📖 The Ceremony: Officiated by my husband, Nate (who, by the way, can craft a ceremony that will make even the most emotionally unavailable people cry).
📸 The Photos: A mix of candid, windswept romance and cinematic, sweeping landscape shots.

After all the soft, romantic moments, it was time to switch it the hell up. Cue West Side Drive-In, a retro spot straight out of the Grease era, where we leaned all the way into vintage nostalgia with neon lights and flash photography that screamed ICONIC.
🍦 The Look: A white top and black leggings for them, and a black tee, black pants, and a bomber jacket for their partner—pure 1950s cool.
🎞 The Vibe: Playful, fun, and 100% rock ‘n’ roll.
🍽 The Food: A classic Idaho ice cream potato (yes, that’s a thing, and yes, it’s delicious).
📸 The Photos: Flash-lit, old-school, cinematic images that looked like stills from a vintage movie.

Look, if you’re pregnant and considering eloping, let me be the first to say: you’re a badass. And you deserve a wedding day that celebrates you, not just as a parent-to-be, but as a whole-ass person with dreams and really good taste in elopement ideas.
Tips for eloping while pregnant:
This couple absolutely owned their day, proving that pregnancy is not a reason to hold back on having the elopement of your dreams.

Feeling inspired? Here’s how to plan a Boise elopement with two locations that feels like a dream:
1️⃣ Pick two locations that reflect your personalities. Love nature and vintage vibes? Let’s do both.
2️⃣ Consider the logistics. Travel time, outfit changes, and timing for golden hour + neon lights all matter.
3️⃣ Work with a photographer (hi, it’s me!) who can help plan and execute the vision.
4️⃣ Wear something that makes you feel like a million bucks. Or at least a solid $999,999.
5️⃣ Be open to spontaneity. Some of the best moments happen when we least expect them.

Let's do this thing
I literally have no words. Natalie is so amazing and talented, and not to mention how kind she is. She has outdone herself! My pregnancy has actually been pretty hard, so it actually brings me to tears to have such beautiful photos to remember it with. I am so so grateful for these beautiful keepsakes.

Natalie and her husband are amazing! My hubby does not enjoy taking photos. Natalie was able to make us feel at ease and have fun with our session. She went above and beyond! I was expecting the typical sit here, pose this way, smile, click. NOPE! She asked us intimate questions about our lives. She played music that we love. She created an atmosphere and a mood that made our anniversary photos an experience. We are so thankful for the memories she helped us to create. Also her unique artistry in how she photographed us. I’m in love with the results. Thank you Natalie and Nate 💖
