Finding the right marriage photographer isn’t just about hiring someone with a camera. It’s about trusting a pro to capture your love story in a way that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a memory every time you look at your photos. Whether you’re planning a wild adventure elopement or a cozy backyard wedding, the right photographer will make sure your day is documented beautifully—without weirdly stiff poses or forced smiles.
But how do you find the right fit? What should you look for? And how do you avoid hiring someone who just slaps a filter on everything and calls it “moody”? Don’t stress—I’ve got you covered.
Look, I get it. Weddings are expensive as hell, and you’re probably trying to save where you can. But your photos? That’s one place you don’t want to cut corners.
A professional marriage photographer brings more than just a fancy camera—they bring experience, creativity, and the ability to handle whatever chaos your wedding day throws at them. (Because trust me, something unexpected is going to happen.)
✔️ High-quality, artistic, and emotional images
✔️ Professional editing that doesn’t make you look like a wax figure
✔️ Ability to handle tricky lighting, weather, and rowdy wedding guests
❌ Costs more than your cousin who just got a DSLR for Christmas
❌ Popular photographers book up fast, so you need to act early
❌ If you don’t choose wisely, you might end up with awkward prom poses instead of natural moments
Wedding photography isn’t just about standing in a field holding hands anymore. (Unless that’s your thing—no judgment.) Here are some trends that can actually make your wedding album stand out.
Forget stiff poses. This style is all about capturing real moments—your partner wiping away a happy tear, your grandma tearing up the dance floor, and that moment when your best friend gives a tipsy, heartfelt speech.
Want an epic aerial shot of your ceremony? Drones can capture breathtaking images—just make sure your photographer knows how to use one and isn’t about to crash it into a tree mid-vow.
Soft, romantic, and timeless—good lighting + the right editing = photos that feel nostalgic instead of overly processed.
Trendy editing styles that might not age well. (Looking at you, heavy orange filters.) Stick to a style that feels true to you, not just what’s cool on Instagram this year.
Now that you know why hiring a pro matters, let’s talk about how to actually find the right one.
Every photographer has a unique style. Do their photos make you feel something? Do their couples look comfortable and natural? If their work doesn’t resonate with you, keep looking.
A great photographer doesn’t just take pretty pictures—they make people feel comfortable, keep things stress-free, and know how to handle wedding day chaos like a boss. Read what past clients have said about their experience.
Your photographer is going to be with you a lot on your wedding day. Make sure you vibe with them. If they feel like someone you’d actually enjoy hanging out with, that’s a good sign.
Photographers have different pricing structures. Some offer full-day coverage, while others focus on micro weddings and elopements. Find someone who offers what you need within your budget.
If you’re looking for a photographer who:
✅ Captures real, unfiltered moments that feel like you
✅ Makes the whole process fun, relaxed, and stress-free
✅ Has backup plans for their backup plans (because life happens)
✅ Won’t make you do cringey prom poses or forced smiles
Then hi, I’m Natalie, and we should probably talk.
I specialize in intimate weddings, elopements, and micro weddings—basically, if you’re ditching tradition to do things your way, I’m your photographer. My approach is all about making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and like your weird, wonderful self in front of the camera.

Technology has completely changed wedding photography. (Remember when people used disposable cameras at weddings? Yeah, we’ve come a long way.)
Today’s cameras capture insane detail, so you’ll be able to see every happy tear, every stolen glance, and every cake smash in crystal clear resolution.
Photographers don’t just snap photos—they also spend hours editing to make sure your images look their best. Think of it as the difference between a rough draft and a final masterpiece.
Most photographers (including me) deliver your images through an online gallery, so you don’t have to wait forever to relive your wedding day. No more waiting months for a dusty old album.
Your wedding day deserves to be documented by someone who gets you—not just some random person with a camera. Whether you’re planning a big celebration or an intimate elopement, I’m here to capture all the magic, weirdness, and love that makes your day yours.

Let's do this thing
I literally have no words. Natalie is so amazing and talented, and not to mention how kind she is. She has outdone herself! My pregnancy has actually been pretty hard, so it actually brings me to tears to have such beautiful photos to remember it with. I am so so grateful for these beautiful keepsakes.

Natalie and her husband are amazing! My hubby does not enjoy taking photos. Natalie was able to make us feel at ease and have fun with our session. She went above and beyond! I was expecting the typical sit here, pose this way, smile, click. NOPE! She asked us intimate questions about our lives. She played music that we love. She created an atmosphere and a mood that made our anniversary photos an experience. We are so thankful for the memories she helped us to create. Also her unique artistry in how she photographed us. I’m in love with the results. Thank you Natalie and Nate 💖
