Every session will be slow and intentional, never rushed. We won't spend the entire time taking photos, we'll talk, we'll explore your location, and we'll really take the time to tell your authentic story while creating core memories that will last a lifetime.
That's why I make sure to customize everything so that your day is tailored fit to your needs and desires. There are no limits on what we can create which is why my packages are just a base.

YES! I will go anywhere! As for travel fees depending on your location we will build the fee into your package. It all just depends on if I need to fly/get a hotel etc. Fill out my contact form to learn more!

DUH. unless for some reason the location does not allow it, I will never say no to a pet! I’ve gotten to have sessions that included dogs, service animals, alpacas, horses and highland cows! I will only ever say no to bugs!
I specialize in elopements and micro weddings! With that being said, I will take on a couple traditional full size weddings each year. Since I don’t do them very often please inquire for a custom quote!

Elopements are perfect if you’re looking for the most intimate and custom wedding experience. They are typically just you, your partner, your officiant and your photographer (depending on state laws your photographer can double as your officiant). They also have the most flexibility in terms of location, time and other important details.
Micro weddings can be just as beautiful and intimate as elopements. I absolutely love them! You still have the freedom to pick the location, guest list, and style of your day. Micro weddings are a great way to still have a small party to celebrate with those closest to you! Micro weddings are sometimes considered backyard weddings because of their small guest count. My cut off for a micro wedding is 30 people.
Traditional weddings have a much larger guest count and are typically what comes to mind when someone says they're planning a wedding. They're so much fun and the perfect option if you're more into a big party with all of your friends and family!
Why do you include a complimentary engagement session in all of your wedding packages?

I always include a complimentary engagement session with all of my wedding packages for two reasons! I love to include these so that your first time in front of my camera isn't on your big day. This works as a trial run and so that we can get a complete full view of your love story. This can be a fun date night, a casual evening, in-home cuddle session or a high-key fancy escapade into the mountains in formalwear. Whatever your heart desires, the options are limitless and completely up to you!
No person or couple has the same story! I always get my inspiration for the session from you and the location. If you're more introverted and not comfy in front of the camera, then I go with a more posed and prompt approach. If you're more extroverted and feel your best self in front of the camera I go for a more candid approach. My biggest thing is making you feel comfortable in front of my lens to make sure we get the best images and to tell your story authentically.
Forecast looks a little iffy? Perfectly sunny and gorgeous days sometimes turn into thunderstorms and yucky weather. Hear me out, we can still get some super dreamy images! Sometimes bad weather makes for the most epic pictures and memories. No weather really scares me BUT, I’m down to reschedule if need be and will work hard to make a new day work for both of us. If you have to cancel your session, I’ll be super bummed about it but, I totally understand! I have a non refundable retainer fee so you won’t be receiving that portion back, but you’ll receive a refund for anything that you paid over the retainer fee.
I keep things as natural as possible. I'll edit out zits, cuts or bug bites, but that's it. I never want to contribute to unrealistic expectations of beauty. There is way too much of that on the internet already.
Part of why I love photography so much is that I get to show you how beautiful you are! So often after my sessions are done I get told "I've never felt so confident before" or "I've always felt self conscious and you've helped me get over that"
#LeaveNoTrace is our ethical responsibility to respect and protect our earth. We do this by cleaning up after ourselves, not walking where we shouldn't be walking, etc. That way we can preserve our location for future generations to enjoy!
